    One of the biggest challenges you are going to face is feeling like you are always on the go. There are constant notification work demands and household duties, it can make it feel like you can’t catch a break in life. 

    That’s why creating intentional space for yourself is so essential. You should take 5 or 10 minutes each morning to sit quietly before the day starts. During this time, you can stretch, pray, meditate or breathe deeply. You can even reflect on what you need emotionally. 

    This short window is going to help you to reset your nervous system and set the tone for you to have a much calmer day. It also helps you to build micro-pause into your routine. These tiny breaks can be very simple. 

    It could be just stepping outside to get a minute of fresh air or putting your phone down if you feel overly stimulated. These short intentional moments will remind your body that rest is allowed even if your life gets hectic. 

    Build a Simple, Doable Self-Care Routine

    A lot of people overlook self-care because they start imagining that they will have to do elaborate routines that they don’t have time for. However, true self-care is not about extravagance but consistency.
